Finding the perfect solutions for home buyers and sellers comes naturally for Jody Shinn, whose honesty, integrity and service-oriented approach have been the foundation of her career. With a wealth of knowledge concerning the waterfront properties, island communities, luxury homes, and golf course neighborhoods throughout Bradenton and Sarasota, Jody understands how to best help her clients achieve their real estate goals. With 22 years of experience in the local market, Jody is a multi-million-dollar producer and holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation.

A longtime resident of Bradenton, Jody earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of South Florida. This background led to a position with IBM in Tampa, which took her to Houston, Texas, and then to Orlando before she finally returned to Bradenton. After her husband opened his own CPA firm in 1993, Shinn & Company, Jody worked in his office handling the accounts payable and internal bookkeeping. With this company, Jody began her active involvement in many community activities in the Bradenton and Sarasota area—which complemented her transition to the real estate industry in March of 2003. Jody quickly excelled as a Realtor, as she garnered the John McMahon Award for the Bradenton office in 2004.

To enhance the level of service she provides her clients, Jody has obtained her Graduate Realtor Institute designation, and is a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Manatee Alumni Association. She is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Manatee County, a lifetime member of the USF Alumni Association, a member of the Iron Bulls for USF Athletics, and a member of the Presidential Search Committee for the State College of Florida.

In her spare time, Jody enjoys golfing, boating, traveling, and watching both college and professional football.
